might be a strange question but Im wondering what causes that smell on the Pirates of Caribbean ride at Disneyland California.

Everyone I know will say that the Pirates of Carrribean ride has one of the best scents of all time. Its not only a beautiful experience visually, but in smell. So Im wondering what chemicals are used in the water or air to cause such a smell
