We need to stop the "look at the huge number of planets out there, it means there's a huge number of intelligence out there!" meme. Just because there's a huge number of planets is meaningless. It's especially meaningless when looking at how insane our solar system is compared to any other.

Even our Sun is insane. Not only is it a G-type star, which are only 8% of other stars, it's rare even in the G-type group! How so?
