Was the single biggest mistake in humanity not just making a shit ton of nuclear reactors? Imagine if America just had 100s of nuclear reactors. We could have achieved completely clean and cheap energy for all for the by 1980s. This would have also accelerated battery technology. There would have been a couple minor accidents along the way, but nothing even close in scope to the affects of global warming.
