>>12080496plastic isn't bad itself, it's how we use it. if we reused our plastic instead of throwing it out after one use, it would solve a lot of issues. of course it would create some challenges too. i think we need standardized containers (if you want to use plastic) that can be collected somewhere and cleaned and reused. it would be like how you treat glass milk bottles, except at a larger scale. this would require substantial government regulation, but would be a net positive; less litter and garbage, cheaper packaging
