- Write an article following the absurd requirement/layout of the publisher, and send your article to the publisher in a specific format
- Publisher don't even read your article, and directly send it to another researchers to review it
- Those researchers spend hours reading/inspecting/correcting your article while also doing their own research and writing their own articles
- They do all the review for free, then send it back to the publisher who will send it to you without even taking a look at it
- The publisher expect you -as if you are their employee- to justify yourself
- You spend hours correcting and writing an answer to the reviewers
- Finally if the reviewers -who still do the work for free- are ok with the response you provided, the publisher -who still never read your article- publish your article
- The publisher is now the owner of all of your hard work that you gave to them for free with zero conditions
- The publisher sell your article and make millions from it, and you get nothing from it, matter of fact some publisher will expect you to pay them to publish your article.
