Evolution being contingent on death had to have abiogenesis start again many times every time it failed, for how many generations? Therefore life should be on just about every habitable planet. There are a number of habitable planets within view. Not one apparently has life; at least the media is still reporting them as not apparently having life for the time being. Therefore the answer to Fermi's paradox is the aliens aren't here because evolution probably didn't happen. This is enough for me to reject evolution as a theory. So what is the "objective truth" about what did happen? Surely as a scientific theory there's more than one. So what's the competing theory?
