is it possible to artificially select chimps to be a lot smarter? So probably be done in a zoo or something. create some sort of smart score and only let the smarter chimps breed. can this be done in a reasonable amount of time? will they reach a smart score limit? how about with rats? if you breed them to be smarter the same way how smart can they in lets say doing this for 100 years. (life spam is 2-3 years in captivity so you'd have to wait for them to become mentally mature to do the test). how would you create this smart score?
