fuck physics, yes im stupid but at least i wont be on my death bed knowing i spent my 20s trying to learn something i had the uttermost difficulty with

that's because you didn't have to understand calculus to use it at the level you were assessed at, but physics requires you to imagine the properties of things you're modelling and understand them. You need to understand that a qualitative grasp of the subject is essential because you are almost never going to be explicitly told what formula to use to calculate some result. You have to have a basic understanding of what they mean and you have to understand how a system moves or whatever so you can go about applying them. You'll soon discover that all of those formulas are related to one another and then what you have to remember is greatly reduced. So basically use your imagination and get concrete examples because it will make things a lot easier.

Physics requires you to be fluent in the language of mathematics as well as having an intuitions of which of the mathematical structures are relevant to the real world. It takes a long time to develop an intuition for physics.

If you think physics is just a set of equations and all you have to do is memorise them, you're aproaching the subject in the wrong way.
