Books before starting Biochemistry in uni

Hello, I'm starting a comp sci degree next month and I've also enrolled in "Bioinformatics" and "Biochemistry for Comp Sci" courses, so I'm wondering, could /sci/ recommend me any good books that cover all the necessary Biology and Chemistry?

I of course remember some stuff from HS, but I didn't pay enough attention in either of those since I didn't think I'd end up as interested in them, and would now like to catch up to all that I've missed.

I've started reading Biochemistry by Donald Voet, and have found that due to my subpar understanding of the aforementioned 2, I can't fully comprehend the reasons for why some things work the ways they do, so I'd like to fix that.

Thanks. (sorry for reddit spacing, it's more readable like this)
