So I guess the only thing I can say is different between schizophrenia and religious people is the frequency and severity of "delusion". I wouldn't say the average religious person is a delusional maniac, just that some of their information is wrong. Whereas a schizophrenic even a smart one is constantly second guessing their own reality because they can't tell whether the conversation they just had with their mother actually happened. To believe in a god doesn't require that level of delusion. I hope that's clear enough for you kind Anons
