>>12069447This process doesn't follow, you can't figure out the value of the apple w/o the stem, as a result you can't use subsition to find the bananas value (you just assume it's value is 5). Also, why do the bananas on the 2nd line have a value of 5 compared to a value of 4 on the 3rd line? Both are depicted including a stem. And the apple on the 4th line has a leaf, it's value would be 10 not 8.
