Has anyone here undergone a septoplasty procedure? Did it improve your breathing/sleep?

i suffer from sleep disordered breathing due to chronic nasal obstruction, due to allergies+structural issues with my nose, namely septal deviation. i'm hoping the procedure will improve my sleep and breathing
