good one, no we still have it after someone donated anonymously. But It's canceling this season because of covid I believe. But we still suck as far as my knowledge goes

I could not of picked a better place to study. Jobs are abundant for any science and engineering student. CS, AE, Physics, etc. Research is heavily valued and likely for sophomores and up. So far no problems.

That’s great to hear. The research output is definitely part of what attracted me. Any opinions on housing? I’m a bit older than I assume most students are (23), so I’m thinking getting an apartment off campus is the best option, but I really don’t know. Do many seniors and grad students live on campus?

Well that depends. There’s plenty of nice apartments on the university drive but the majority I see are on campus. Being on campus has many perks, so that’s my choice as a freshman. Unless you’re an RA or something I would go buy an apartment at your age. All I can say is good luck and don’t stress about not getting employment and failure to network. There’s honestly so much here it’s quite hard to fuck up

Alright, thanks for the advice. Huntsville seems like a pretty great place to be for someone that wants to work on missiles, and I’m definitely looking forward to getting out there. Hopefully this corona shit is less of a factor by January.
