As long as you don't take dangerous doses you'll be fine. Perhaps it's more helpful to take meds in more frequent intervals, but people don't like that so 12hour meds are released.

so let's say you have to take the medication every 12 hours, and I pick 9 pm and 9 am if i take the medication within 30 mins of that time either 8:30 or 9:30 i should be fine right?
