>>12063606>fakeno, they are real, not always caused by coddling/overly sterile obsessed parents
However, there are plenty of helicopter parents who do coddle their kids or lie/misunderstand what an allergy is (like people who talk about gluten free incessantly or misclassify celiac disease as an allergy when it is very different from, say, a wheat allergy) and I fucking hate those yuppie cunts because they have made everyone 10x more resentful and skeptical about food allergies which millions of people do have
>medicineas in, does it help? yes, but doesn't reverse it
>vaccinesas in, cause them? likely not, but some people can have an allergic reaction to various ingredients in them
I have many allergies, some life-threatening, and have since I was a child. I have tried for years to understand how and why I have them and if there's anything that helps. I've talked to many specialists, read texts and keep up with many research papers on the matter.
Over the years, I have learned that people who do not have allergies (and even many who do) do not really understand what is going on at a cellular level, and just repeat shit they read on their social media site of choice or blame it on some thing that coincides with their beliefs, most of which are obviously false or genuine theories with little evidence (parenting style, coddling, fake, lel darwinism, vaccines, veganism, too clean too dirty, genetics, breastfed vs bottlefed etc.)
Feel free to ask any more questions. I have a thick skin about it so I understand most people think I should just have been aborted or something, but it's whatever.
