there was one person i knew who straight up floated through all of his math classes i.e. 100% on every assignment/exam. Extremely autistic and difficult to talk to though. Definitely did not belong at my college.

Nope. Smartest person I've ever known is me. And I had ass parents. Second smartest person I ever met was brilliant and I'm not sure whose parents were worse. I've met a great number of NPCs with college graduate parents.
