They are good. I think they're like feynman lectures, if you think about what they say and explore you get a lot out of them. If you just do the exercises and expect to understand physics you'll be disappointed. They are well written.

Just read Griffiths if you want easy mode unearned knowledge of dumbed down QM. The book isn’t very hard and if you know multi and are capable of applying it you can do the exercises. Book is on libgen available in your ebook format of choice.

I saw some textbooks (Griffiths for example, but these Susskind books also cover SR, QFT, and GR). I am looking at the Susskind books as a preliminary, since they give intuitive explanations according to reviews, Susskind isn't some pop science writer, he works in the field.

I'm aware, I've met him.

Unless your background is not in math or physics, there's no reason to use a "preliminary" book. Just start with a good textbook, which should explain everything more rigorously and completely.
If you're thinking of these topics from a hobby perspective then these books are fine.

I'm sorry, havent read them. But I'm reading Quantum Mechanics and Experience by David Albert and Philosophy of Quantum Mechanics by Tim Maudlin atm to introduce myself to quantum mechanics through its theoretic problems. Maybe those would be better. Idk. I just know that Susskind is shat on quite often and seems to only get the gist of QM.

I'll tell you what I remember from school many years ago and you tell me if I can go straight into the textbook.

Math: differentiation and integration (chain rule, product rule, etc), basic linear algebra, quadratic equations, basic statistics (t-test, chi-test), basic trigonometry, exponents and logarithms, parametric curves

Physics: basic particle physics, basic electricity (P = IV, parallel and series circuits), basic Newtonian mechanics (F = ma, work and force), waves, the double slit experiment, the photoelectric effect, oscillators, and probably a few more things in astrophysics

just find whatever textbook your heart desires (townsend or griffiths) on libgen, read a chapter or so, and evaluate yourself whether or not you need to refresh before jumping in.
you should get up to the level of basic differential equations first.

I've heard of the QM and Experience book... I've actually read a couple of books on interpretations. I'm not sure they help with the actual science. Quantum Physics: Illusion or Reality? by Alastair Rae and Making Sense of Quantum Mechanics
by Jean Bricmont.
