I dropped out second year after dropping relativity and failing my E&M exam. From my experience the profs do not care in the slightest about their students and seem to care more (this is specific to physics) about projecting an image of themselves like some kind of big brain genius out of a fucking movie. In E&M I got almost perfect on all assignments and consistently scored well above average on three midterms, yet I failed the exam miserably because it was intentionally written to be extra difficult. In relativity and modern physics, our prof never did a single worked problem (she had something against doing this) and spent every class explaining concepts using convoluted analogies.
