Why doesn't NASA just scale the Apollo rocket to make it Mars compatible?

I get that it was made in the 60s and there was no CAD back then but it can still be redrawn from paper by the new engineers and then they scan scale everything by 3x and it should be big enough to go to the moon.

Why waste more time creating a new one when the old one works just as well?
