>>12056687probably not. it is actually realy interesting what changes to evolution the emergence of civilisation might cause. whatever gives animals the best chances of reproduicing is waht will be selected fore. humans produice a lot of "waste", that other species can use. like all the food we throw away. so animals that can exploit that the best withot pissing us off enough for us to cill them will be selected for. a good example are the monkeys in india.
this is just speculation but i think the emergence of one high intelligence species will promote the immergence of others.
