Lots of idiots that think having a bachelor’s with “engineering” in the name will help them get into med school. Don’t worry about it, they’ll switch to bio within 4 semesters or so.

Lose the degree its either EE to Biomed or nothing. Biomed engineering itself is a joke degree and no one is looking for someone with that background.
And even if you find a job it would be boring artery balloons.

To follow up on this and to be clear. The biomedical engineer does NOT STUDY BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING. He studies EE in BSc and does his master or PhD in Biomedical engineering.

That's not the case for every school. I know guys from Georgia Tech's biomed program that are graduating with 6-figure jobs at startups (even in the midst of this covid BS).
