I'm going to a community college right now and I will be graduating after spring of next year. I'm doing an associate of science and taking as many math classes as I can. I want to ultimately study math as deep as I can and maybe go into research.

But besides that, I have no real plan and I'm not sure what to do right now because I haven't even researched where I want to apply to next. I could just go to the state school because the credits could easily transfer and I have an 8k scholarship from the state for ant state schools. But I'm in nevada so it's just a big opportunityless desert.

A couple online friends are telling me I should apply to someplace else because they think I'm smart. I do too, but I'm scared of the challenge this will bring and I am also just paralyzed in the decision process.
