Mom said that she always had trouble in math and wanted to be good at it but her brain never captured the information and she felt like half her brain was wanting to get the information while the other did not. She says its because she has a more artistic and philosophical brain with astrology and other spiritual things.

This exact same thing happened to me in high school, I truly wanted to be good at math but its like a block is stopping me from getting ahead. Im not an artist or philosopher but I truly wanted to get better at it but I just couldn't. The numbers threw me off despite hours of studying.
