the class is literally called quantum physics at some schools and is a sophomore level class at almost all schools. just because someone takes qm doesn’t mean they’re doing advanced physics lol its all lin alg and basic diff eq

I'm a scientist and sometimes teach undergrad students, though not physics.

I always wonder why people are surprised that their teachers are up to the same shit antics as they are. The teachers are basically slightly older versions of themselves.

Eh, I think people glorify what it was like back then a little. Like 80% of threads were troll magnet threads, 10% was science versus religion, 5% was literal CP because there were no mods for this board, and the rest were legitimate threads that didn't get any replies. It also moved very slowly.

But I do agree that the quality of the few legitimate threads was a lot better, since there weren't many /pol/tards around yet.
