I guess a structured method could work if you're learning process is more methodical and less intuitive. I've never found it desirable or necessary. My grades are usually high compared to my classmates. Actually they got comparatively higher the harder the course was.
Idk if my education is "legit" enough for you spergs to acknowledge though. The hardest courses I've taken were probably in nonlinear finite elements and nonlinear control systems.
