>>12047230Arguably social constraints in SK revolve around wealth and class. Being well-educated is often a nice path to doing well, but a lot of lower class students get buried in debt and can't get a job anyway (Hell Joseon) while the rich kids get mommy/daddy's connections and get a job and already have wealth/status so they easily get a girl
Keep in mind, though, that isn't absolute - poor people, despite being disadvantaged, are still going to breed. It's more outcasts, hikkikomori, NEETs that are at sexual disadvantage (sorry anons). And selection pressure isn't "have an easy life vs hard life" but rather "barrier(s) to producing viable progeny that grow up to reproduce themselves". So while yes, socially they're producing people that value study, wealth, productivity, those same people might burn out and never breed simply because of despair, hopelessness, etc.
