Doctor is not a scientist, doctors just fix biological problems, like a mechanic for people. It is not exciting, it probably isnt a fun job, and it doesnt mean you are a genius.
As a doctor, you are a well paid, above average inteligent, upper middle class very educated (but only in your narrow domain of the human body) tradesman. And your life is probably boring.

kek, I'm an actual scientist (as in have a PhD) and teach med students on occasion. All work hard, but most of them are stupid as fuck. What sets them apart from other students is work ethic rather than understanding.

A friend of mine is a surgeon and she makes 100k+ a year. I'm not a doctor and make about 65k a year.

Except, when she's not working she's pretty much sleeping all the time because her working hours are insane. She's loaded but has no time to actually enjoy that money. Meanwhile, I make enough to live comfortably and actually have the time to enjoy the money that I make.

I wouldn't call that intelligent but just rote memorization and regurgitation. I have know more about certain body conditions then some doctors. I trust their expertise because of years of training. But if the medical school just teaches you to fix issues through pharmaceuticals all the time is that really healing? Especially when these pharmaceuticals just push off the issue and causes "side effects"? Side effects are just a circumstance of different enzymes being down regulated causing a chain reaction of other co-enzymes not being activated. Essentially all these medications are just a band-aid while the body breaks down. But go ahead and eat your NSAIDS

There isn't a single fucking application of Biochemistry knowledge in actual practice you autistic frogposter. I am ever grateful to physiologists which are doctors themselves, but the only "scientific" biochem teacher I had is in jail for fucking students to let them pass.
