>>12045088>>12045092In short, because this is the present, and there is no tabula rasa for man in the enar future. God is just one manifestation of an underlying human organizational template. No matter what heading it's under, no0 matter the era, the genesis and architecture of a religious power structure follows a similar pattern, and stablizes in the same general way. If you have the notion of God and the structure of all these religions in mind, you are "freed" in the sense that no other beleif system can lure you into subjugation or delusion. Hence, organizing principle. Deities, idolatry, the trinity, all of it you can see playing out elsewhere.
>Imagine there isn't a god at the moment. They exist, but are difficult to truly unify under one concept. I don't have to imagine because I grew up without religion. No concept of God, no rejection of a God, we just didn't talk or think about it. My first memory of "God" I was in second grade walking passed the basketball court and it hit me, "ah, that is what is real for them". My next question was whether it could be truly real for some, but not all. Later on I found I was a heretic to everyone. People only tolerate you up until you stop telling them what they expect, and want, to hear. That is the hidden contract. You either go up against the masses, you try to separate from them as much as possible, or you chameleon and return to them in a form such that they may understand (not unlike the concept of Jesus) and try to dfrip feed some sense into them. Atheist or theist, it makes no difference. They each create idols and worship Gods.
Anyway, the concept of God pretty much united all these observations I'd had watching everyone, feeling like an alien observer, and it also helped me better understand myself.
You can read further elaboration and crazy person writings here. It wasn't always this way of course, I used to tailor the message and believe in people.
