I dont feel like people acknowledge hydrogen peroxide enough. It's a miracle cure-all that costs less than a dollar for a big bottle of it.

It's basically chemical cauterization. Same as alcohol. That's why hospitals use iodine instead now. You only use it as a last resort, when you're in the middle of the wilderness, or when you don't mind the scar.
