I smoked on and off for 16 years from age 15. I'd go maybe one month without smoking, and then next month smoke a pack a day stuff like that. Honestly, I definitely got the psychological benefits e.g. temporarily incresed focus, but it was only when I quite properly 4 years ago that realised I realise the negatives too. But overall, nicotine is very mild and just not worth it for the amount shit you have to breath in too. Especially when coke or speed or so much fucking better.
Also, you're a fucking idiot if you believe smoking is anything but pro-inflmmatory. Nicotine I can accept is moderaly cytoprotective in neurons, but then so are a fuck ton of much better things like vitamin c.
