>>12033489Let's say you are schrodinger's cat and a bomb could be activated every second with a 50% probability. According to MWI after one second you will be dead in half of all possible universes and alive in the other half, after 2s 75% dead, 25% alive and so on. After three hours you are still alive in some of the possible universes despite all odds (if there is a non zero chanche of it happening it will happen in MWI).
Now apply that to natural death. You have a tiny probability to get to 100 yo but in some universes it will happen. The possibility of you living to 1000, 10 000, 10 million years old and so on is infinitesimal but it should happen in some of the universe. One could even cut off your head but through quantum fluctuations it will regenerate your body in some of the universes and you will still live. The fact tho is that, even if MWI is true, your consciousness couldn't magically jump to the universes where your body survives (since the universes are causally disconnected) so you have nothing to worry about. Yes, some version of you will suffer something akin to eternal torture, but it's not you, it's a guy with your genetic code, memories, feelings etc. in a different universe. Alao MWI is probably wrong but I digress.
