What is the best up-to-date general biology textbook? I'm looking for something which explains the most "orthodox" and important scientific theories of biology today. Especially interested in genetics, evolution, and cellular biology, though the principles of macrobiology would be nice too. Basically I want the theories in the words that the biologists of today would speak. Undergrad level is what im looking for, I've taken a handful of undergrad chemistry, physics, math and biology courses in the past.
