Definitely not despite what /xpol/ claims, having a 0.3 death rate makes a very weak virus, the thing is that its basically more of a super cold than anything especially on how it spreads, most countries are already recovering and finding ways to deal with it as well. However because it was new the reaction towards it definitely had reasonable panic especially with the social isolation and lockdowns because nobody had any idea(save for a couple of smart people) on what it's capable off from comparisons to even comparing it to the Spanish flu! It's most vulnerable towards 80+ people and that's why there's been many deaths as a result in a ratio to the 15 million who have fully recovered(which makes sense because the common cold called rhinovirus is also quite dangerous to the same crowd). Was the lockdown necessary? Maybe but maybe we'll have a better way to handle virus situations under the possibility something else emerged in the future.

When you have lung scans of a patient at the beginning of the illness and they're clear, and after several weeks they show the telltale signs of COVID-19 (plus a positive PCR test), yes, it's safe to say it's the virus.

If that is true, then either there are a lot more undiagnosed cases (and the death count is correct), or deaths are being over-reported (and the case count is correct). Or both could be wrong.

But personally i'm pretty sure the death count is correct (or near correct), because we can see the excess deaths in populations since the pandemic started (amount of deaths in past 6 months compared to same time last year) and it is a very high number.
