Don't know why I'm asking the designated racebait outrage board but here's a hypothetical
>be retard astronaut and blow up ship outside Neptune's orbit
>floating around in pretty good space suit dssigned to withstand a shitton of space-stuff
>oh wait I'm being sucked into the planet, shit
>not orbiting, just got propelled close enough to fall straight in
1. Can you just slowly float towards the planet and get "sucked in" or would you just end up in orbit without enough velocity
2. With just enough velocity what exactly would end up killing me and how long would it take starting from being trapped by the fat fuck's gravity
3. Assume I have infinite oxygen and cannot die except through physical trauma if the timescale is long as fuck

For various reasons besides the existential dread from imagining the scenario, I've been wondering what actually would happen as a single person manages to get yeeted into various celestial bodies. Same questions as above if the first thing that kills me doesn't count (I assume it's either pressure or some solid smacking into me at ridiculous speeds)

Seriously what the fuck is falling into a planet, especially a gas giant (or 'ice giant) like
