Has anybody done research on human comprehension? I partaked in a experiment where I only listen and watch stuff in 4 or 5 times the orginal speed. My action is not unique since blind people utilize text to speech to read.

Personal I would like to know what is the theoretical limit? And why haven't the majority of people listen to audio in 5 times.
