Neuroscience has a scientifically sound part and a pathological science part. The scientifically sound part is when they make generalizations from objective observations- The pathological science part is when they “infer” vague assertions, many times about concepts in psychiatry. E.g: postulating that X “mental disorder” is *because* of Y macroscopic feature observed in fMRI when only observational studies have been done.
