It works but it's also a religious practice, imo. Like, it might affect your beliefs, thoughts, and actions to a extent. You might find you become a Buddhist if you do Buddhist meditation, e.g.

Yeah, it does work. I don't particularly like it, cause meditation makes me disassociate, but it does work.
