Hi /Sci/, I have a question.

Do you think modern education systems are salvageable? I feel like most people agree that, at this point in history, what we have starting in kindergarden and ending in universities is woefully inadequate to teach people anything from the very basics of surviving in the modern world, up to and sometimes including highly theoretical fields like quantum physics, because to even get to studying such things one has to jump through so many unrelated hoops, it's unreal.

I'm not just talking about america's life-wrecking debt spirals but the system as a whole where a person spends 25 years behind a desk and ends up learning very little.
