I need help with kind of a simple calculus problem.
Suppose I wanted to take the derivative of the first equation in the pic wrt z.
I apply the product rule, but what would I do with the extra d in there?
Did I do it right? If so, what is a d(dx)/dz ?
Please refer me to any helpful resources.
