So they watch all of our institutions, the propped up :experts", the media, and regulatory apapratuses, and they believe in all of it. They place faith in all of it. And in their belief system, their God, through technology, can solve any problem real or imagined. They believe that by stick with society they are part of a God and even Mother Nature herself and the logic of the universe is subject to their will.
Through science and technology, they believe man is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and because they're dumb normies who don't know anything about human psychology or history, they assume humans are omnibenevolent.
You're just dealing with another religion. Despair like all the others trapped with religious normies throughout history, and try to live your life as best as possible. Hopefully by some measure in awe and open eyes to Mother Nature, for it is only through Her that you shall, if you can see through your own demands, distortions, and lies, receive a Truth which is undeniable and self evident. Truth comes from self, in body and mind.
Although perhaps if nature is going to be antropomorphized in some sense, it should should be more of a Mother-Father. The notion of "Mother Earth" and "Father of the heavens" comes from the ancient religions all the way back to Mesopotamia. I think of the underlying logic of the universe as an it, but nonetheless, it would be androgynous. In the Old World cultures these come in the form of the Divine Androgyne, the androgynous creator who is fragmented and all things stem from.
