Years ago when I first started smoking, I had an edible and I’m pretty sure had a seizure (either coincidentally and simultaneously or brought on by). Symptoms included clenched jaw, inability to speak even when I forced my mouth open, extreme muscle contractions that were very painful, but I never had an experience like it before or since.

I’ve always wondered what happened in that moment and how. So, what’s the medical consensus on the possibility of fringe or abnormal responses to marijuana and THC similar to what I described?
