Through self-studying, I've discovered how incompetent my previous mathematics teachers were at teaching us mathematics.

Do you guys have any ways in which you've fastly improved your problem-solving skills, regarding maths, and "unlearned" faulty behaviour?

I've been good at math my whole life and I've never understood how you retards can have so much trouble with it.

Literally just read the freakin 3 paragraphs in the book, then repeat exactly what it said to do but with different numbers. If you forget or get lost, just flip back 1 page and re-read the paragraph. You literally do not even need to understand any of it, just fucking learn which equation they want you to use for the different types of problems and use them. There is 0 thinking involved.

Got thru all the advanced math classes just by fuggin flipping back and forth if I had trouble with a problem, why is it so hard for you monkeys?

Text books are literally trash. Unreadable, boring, trite, and worthless. Designed to be glanced over and summarized. They designed textbooks like reference manuals instead of study manuals. They will be replaced. With that being said, they are an autistic compendium on a topic. So use your imagination, try to see the steps the text is taking. While textbooks are shit, lectures based around them are somehow less even. It is a machination of the pink sline factory. At all levels they think readers are tobe talked down to, like academic forerunners are parents, making shit up on the spot and declaring it the rule.
The trick to studying is to practice one topic exclusively until the intuition picks it up. A secondary optional objective would be to break a topic into usable tasks that you eventually perform automatically. It is not necessary, merely knowing something can be done is enough to orchestrate it within another system and utilize it. Still, being technically skilled in something has uses and if you havent found that thing you are meant to do, better start this level of craft
