It doesn't have to be any of the organised religions. I'm talking about just a general power higher than ourselves in the universe.

In the Lovecraftian sense, that is. A being so advanced or powerful that we exist as mere ants in comparison.

I believe in a god, although not in a traditional sense that its some bearded dude in the sky or whatever, but something unimaginable to our narrow perception of things. We're all governed by some sort of higher power, something beyond our limited understanding. Benfords law is just one of many examples of how the universe isn't chaotic, but actually follows some sort of order. If you want to call that a god, by all means. Although, I do think you're looking at things the wrong way. Sure, an ant may seem insignificant from our point of view but as a collective they can greatly influence their surrounding environment. Just as the cells in our body may seem insignificant if you take them for granite but once you zoom out on a wider scale they all play their role accordingly in supporting the greater good, which is "you." Of course you can zoom out even further, on all of humanity, of all living organisms in existence, of every cluster of stars, planets, etc. Just because you're tiny doesn't mean you have your own role to play, whatever that might be.

Yes I do. I believe that the Greek Gods are real and I will explain why. According to Greek Mythology Gods can take the form of any being (human or not) and they sometimes take the form of people you know or strangers to see how you act or to help you or to pursue their own goals whatever they may be. Have you ever met a stranger that had something off or something was unexplainable about them? Like if they talked to you like they already knew you or if it was in a place where you expected no other humans to be around or if they appeared out of nowhere seemingly to help you or if you didn't treat them right and then bad things happened to you... in all of these cases (and others) it could have been a Greek God, especially if the Gods have a reason to interact with you. That could be because of what you have done in your life (they empathise with you/dissaprove of you etc) or because Gods like certain people, for example Athena likes smart people, in the Odyssey she had a special interest for Odysseus who had impressed her with his intellect and his character. Anyway you may have encoutered some Gods before, think about it.
