What is the best way of studying for maximum efficiency? When it comes to mathematics, my routine consists of 25 minutes studying, 5 minute break, and repeat for how ever long I want to. I find that putting in all my effort into 25 minutes, then taking a quick 5 minute break helps me have a more well rounded head when I return after the break is over.

Leave some advice, if you have any

For pure math going back to the chapter and rereading definitions and checking out the authors proofs for theorems similar to the exercise you’re working on is always good. The actual sustained problem solving period shouldn’t be in excess of 90 minutes.

For physics honestly pomodoro works find, 25 mins is enough time to crank out 3-5 exercises.

Anything else like actually absorbing the text itself I would wait at least 45-60 minutes before breaking focus. 25 minutes is perfect for material you have already learned and are grinding out a refined understanding of for exams, but not for learning. The lecture period length of about 1 hour seems appropriate to engage with a new topic.

This could actually work. I'm not shooting for a top perfect score, i'm just shooting for passing. I also happen to have luck on my side when it comes to last minute things

I studied everyday for three-four hours until the last month and a half before exams in where id spend an hour every two days just answering questions to refresh what I learn.
Thats how I got into medical school without losing hair

This is what I do, stressful as hell. I always swear to myself I'll plan ahead next time instead of cramming at the end, but it never works out that way. Without the stress of an impending deadline, I can't get shit done.
