duloxetine or some other SNRI if you want it to actually go away long term
100-300mg phenibut if you want gaba shit thats much less impairing than benzos, but still only provides temporary fix

enjoy your brain damage, benzos are literally just as harmful if not more than alcohol. there are literal studies out there comparing prolonged brain damage from benzos to long term alcoholism. also, benzo withdrawal can literally kill you.

apparently ssris are clinically proven to be more effective than benzos for social anxiety in the long term.

op you should also look into cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt), it's shown to be quite effective for social anxiety

also can recommend trazodone, the effect isn't quite as strong as duloxetine for me but after the first couple days of feeling a little drunk it has very minimal side effects other than getting sleepy after taking it and sleeping a bit longer than without it

t. extreme anxiousfrogs that tried 1488 different kinds of GABA shit for anxiety, but taking duloxetine and trazodone just made it go away completely and I barely even think about it anymore

yeah, at doses where I notice any real difference on anxiety it just makes me sleepy more than anything
works really nice with caffeine for reducing the physical effects while keeping the mental stimulation though

It's pretty different, even with really high doses you're not going to get the same sort of effects as benzos but more just sorta relaxed and sleepy instead of any fun
