are brainlets (sub 130 iq) even conscious? do they have hopes and fears, aspirations and dreams? are they capable of independent thought, aware of their own existence?
talking to them is like talking to drones, to automata that barely comprehend the words they're speaking
even being considerably more intelligent than that it feels like the grasp of reality grows more tenuous by the day, sometimes wonder if I even exist at all like life is on autopilot, conscious thought only rarely being applied
are we even that different from any other organism, reactions provoked by stimuli, empty chemical reactions, are we even fundamentally different from falling rocks driven by gravity
