What's a good book on classical mechanics for self-studying that isn't 2000 pages? I'm looking for something that has assignments and solutions. Any ideas?

I just want a solid basis, I'm thinking about getting a bachelor's in physics (not for work, I know that's a bad career decision). Something that starts at or before the high school level and maybe ends at the first semester of uni. Sorry if this is vague

I mean, if you're talking about learning it at that level just get a basic college physics text - they're all basically the same. Halliday, Resnik, and Krane is decent.
