what are these bumps?

These bumps are located under the skin on the inside of my upper and lower lips. I've had them for as long as i remember and they don't hurt

I know what you're talking about. Ive always assumed they were just fat or muscle. I don't think they're anything to worry about. I only notice them on the odd occasion of pressing my tongue against the backsides of that part of my mouth. My teeth never naturally touch them.

its chelitis, pre-cancerous

HSV1 creates blisters and chelitis is more or less chapped lips, the dead tissue builds up and you get white spots on your lips

HSV1 is puss filled groupings of awfulness

many people have white bumps that can even sting a bit on their lips, and there is no puss and they dont congregate together, because its just dead skin from being a lip licker

No joke, it's the Cold Sore virus and everyone has it.
I will correct myself though, it's Simplex 1 not A
Although I looked into it a bit further and they could be Fordyce Granules, which are just a build up of skin oils - a bit like shoulder spots (keratosis pilaris)
