How do the magnetic self-heating neck pads work?

I'm trying to find info, but it's hard to find it because everything is just an ad to buy these things. I actually bought one to see if it works, and it does. The best explanation I can find is some bs about your body's magnetic field and stuff. And I know blood is not ferromagnetic, so I'm confused how this stuff works.
