Why is it racist to suggest the reason for the disproportionate rate of black killings and arrests by police being the fact that blacks disproportionately commit crime? Regardless of the socioeconomic issues that might compel them to do so, like lack of financial and familial stability or education?

I think it's disingenuous to deny facts like this, but it is also 100% wrong to use them to imply blacks are fundamentally inferior than whites, or to profile and discriminate against them. I mean, I understand people don't want to accept things that might lead stupider people to those conclusions, but to flat out deny reality? That's either profound cognitive dissonance or simple ignorance.
